Tacoma Lodge #174
The Tacoma Elks lodge consists of over 4000 members dedicated to charitable acts throughout the community. The lodge building houses a lodge room which can seat 1000, dining room and lounge, first quality dance floor, billiards and pool tables, bocce courts, an indoor swimming pool, handball/racquetball courts, ample universal and free weights, cardio machines, softball field, and Allenmore Golf Course across Cedar Street to the East.

The Lodge ordinarily meets every Wednesday at 8:00 PM except there are no meetings after the first Wednesday of July until the last Wednesday of August. This is what is meant by being 'dark'.
Committees may or may not meet during this period.
